Lama Karma, (Justin Wall) my collaborator and the original reason for my invitation to make this film has just disappeared today for three years and a three months. It’s his second traditional retreat. Astonishing and strange. And there I am, angling for a shot.

HI. I haven’t looked at the site in a while and I see there are some additions. I can’t believe Justin is gone again. He seems different this time. I am going on a little retreat in tow weeks for 10 days. I hope it will connect me with Justin.
I met a guy who owns two theaters here in MKE and said he would be interested in showing the doc. How’s it coming? Hope you are well.

I am a student of Lama Norlha Rinpoche, my root lama is Wangchen Rinpoche (the nephew of the late Kalu Rinpoche) who referred me to Norlha Rinpoche when I moved from California to New York. I love visiting KTC…I love the staff of nuns, monks, and resident lamas. Lama Norlha Rinpoche is such an enlightened being and has done so much for so many…he is amazing, his life is amazing…and I am so happy that this documentary is being done about him. KTC needs to raise funds to build the monastery there…it will cost millions. Perhaps this documentary will help bring more attention to all the work that KTC has done for American and Tibetan students of Buddhism and bring in more members who will be generous with their money in helping to fund this Maitreya Monastery Center Project. I give as much as I can to KTC in money and time. I wish I could do more, if I were a millionaire I would donate millions to KTC…for Lama Norlha and KTC has benefited and continues so many sentient beings, the blessings are immense and ongoing. Good luck with your project. I look forward to viewing it. I want to buy a copy. Let me and all of us know when it will be ready.
